Through Sarah Bruen, 1679 - 1745, who married Abraham Kitchel, the entire Kitchel lineage subsequent to that date, becomes descendants of the ancient Bruen family of England, which in turn is said to possess among its ancestry through the Holford and other lines considerable of the nobility and royalty of Europe.
